Kult Kitties (Sci-Fi a la Mojo)

September 19, 2012 — 13 Comments

I meant to say, something kinda funny happened at Autumn Fair. I was standing with a new customer looking at the Magic Mojo range and he said, “I’m exhibiting at a comic convention  and I’d like to take your Sci-Fi range.” And I may have looked at him a little bit strangely, cos I don’t HAVE a Sci-Fi range….do I? But eventually, the penny dropped, and looking at it from his perspective, I guess there is a Mojo ‘sub-range’ that is, while maybe not strictly Sci-Fi, certainly has Sci-Fi leanings.

So here are his choices. Sci-Fi or not?

And Mojo says, if you know someone who’d smile at these cards, head over to our webshop  and if you put in WP15 as a voucher code, you’ll get 15% off your order. Who says cats are self-centred!  :)

  1. why can’t i hit the like button 42 times {whining}?

Oh my dear–try for the ComicCon in San Diego, California. A friend of my brother, who owns a VERY successful comic store exhibits there. What a hit you’d be. The downside is that you’d be rollin’ in dough and too busy jet-setting and hob-nobbing ‘n’ sh&t to be here! So, never mind.

But then, there’s the sunshine and ocean and my brother is practically a native to San Diego and would help you I know.

Um, yeah with the Sci-Fi range. Science Fiction and Fantasy! Hell, call it whatever you want, but jump on that perspective coming from a guy with money!!!

    PS. So ‘cited for you!

    PPS. Really!

    • Whoa, there. Calme toi. I fink that the UK version is more likely to be 12-14 tables in a church hall. Highly unlikely to affect my gross income by more than about £60 :) But should anyone want to take Mojo to see Sci-Fi abroad, we are open to invitation!

  2. Uh, me again. On the webshop, I didn’t see the Minority Repawt, which I saw here for the first time, and was immediately taken with by for to, etc.

    That is all.

  3. HAHAHA. This is hilarious! I loved so hard!

  4. I wouldn’t call Apocalypse, Bone, Claws, Way of the Claw, or Clockwork scifi – but! they are all very popular amongst geeks. So, yes. I’ve been sending cards out by picking things people I know love – I’d even gently suggest the Doors one to him as being rather geeky.

  5. I like The Bone Identity of course…. woo woo woo!

    • Glad you like. I have a very soft spot for that one too. We do have quite a few doggy designs, but they’re harder to make because we have to travel to do them at other people’s homes. Probably the most popular doggy one is Saving Private Rover. Glad you could stop by :)
